Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper & Coffee House... is this Tuesday, February 21, 5:30-7:30pm at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church.  Bright New Wings is hosting the supper to raise funds for their World Vision Sponsored Child.  This is also a chance to share a song, a reading, a poem, some instrumental music, a skit, a monolog, a story…  We’re planning an easy going “open mic” type of setting -- very informal, not a set program, just a chance to share with each other. No need to “register” beforehand, but if you need help or a musical accompaniment let Larry know!

Ash Wednesday.  Wednesday, February 22 marks the beginning of Lent, the season of preparation for Holy Week and Easter.  Please join us for a special Ash Wednesday service at 7:30pm at the Stone House.

Vacation Bible School.  VBS is coming this Summer! Our VBS dates are July 23-27.  Mark your calendars now.  We are doing Group’s VBS Sky—Everything is Possible With God.

High School Breakaway.  Four Bright New Wings girls and chaperone Amanda Holz are still at High School Breakaway with The Falls Church students at Rockbridge Young Life Camp in Goshen, VA.  They return home Monday.

Bishop’s Visit. Bishop John Guernsey will visit Potomac Falls Friday March 16 through Sunday, March 18.

Loudoun Interfaith Relief.  Every Sunday we collect food for  Interfaith Relief, a food pantry that provides emergency food assistance to those in need in Loudoun County.  They are especially in need of Cereal, Juice, Canned Fruit, Canned Vegetables, Soups, Peanut Butter, Jelly, Canned Tuna & Chicken and Chef Boyardee products.  Please remember Interfaith Relief when you do your own grocery shopping.
